Teenager Airlifted to Hospital After Serious Crash in Kerry

A teenager has sustained serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Co Kerry. The incident took place in Deerpark, Lixnaw, at approximately 17:45 on Saturday. The driver, an adult male in his late teens, was the only occupant of the vehicle and was subsequently airlifted to Cork University Hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Authorities, including the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, conducted an examination of the crash site. Following their investigation, the road has since reopened to traffic.

The Gardaí are actively seeking witnesses to the incident. They particularly request that any road users who were in the area between 17:15 and 17:45 and possess dash-cam footage come forward with this information.
