Speaking on this momentous occasion, Kairi Künka, the Estonian Ambassador to Ireland, emphasized the importance of the concert, stating, “The Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Dublin, the Honorary Consul of Estonia in Limerick, and the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia invite music lovers to celebrate the 90th anniversary of world-renowned composer Maestro Arvo Pärt.”

Julie Long, the Honorary Consul to Estonia for the Mid West of Ireland, added, “Lunchtime concerts in Saint Mary’s Cathedral are a Limerick favorite and it is wonderful to connect the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia with Limerick to celebrate this globally celebrated composer.”
