UPDATE: A woman in her 30s has been found dead beside a burning car in Omagh, Co Tyrone, prompting an urgent investigation by local authorities. The shocking discovery was made on August 2, 2023, as firefighters extinguished a blaze involving a silver Mitsubishi Lancer GS2 around 2 PM on Rylagh Road.
Police have confirmed that her death is currently not considered suspicious, but investigations are ongoing. A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) stated, “A post-mortem has concluded, and family has been informed,” while emphasizing the tragic nature of the incident.
