Authorities from Uisce Éireann have mobilized crews to locate and repair the damaged main, which has severely impacted local reservoir levels. Ger Greally, a representative from Uisce Éireann, stated, “We understand the inconvenience that unplanned outages can have. Crews have been mobilized to address this urgent situation, and we wish to thank customers in the area for their patience while the works are underway.”
Repair operations are currently expected to be completed by 3 PM today, but residents may experience delays of up to 3 to 4 hours before their full water supply is restored.
