CluneTech Triumphs at 2025 HR Leadership and Management Awards
Kilkenny-based software technology group CluneTech achieved significant recognition at the 2025 HR Leadership and Management Awards, held at the Crowne Plaza in Dublin. The company secured two prestigious awards, reflecting its commitment to excellence in human resources and corporate social responsibility.
Now in its 11th year, the HR Leadership and Management Awards celebrate innovation and excellence within the HR sector. The event gathers hundreds of professionals from across Ireland to acknowledge organizations that are transforming the employee experience and contributing to the nation’s economic landscape.
CluneTech was honored with the Best Workplace Award, which acknowledges the company’s outstanding efforts in fostering a work environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered. This accolade highlights CluneTech’s dedication to maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
In addition to this recognition, WeCan, a not-for-profit initiative established by CluneTech, received the award for Best Use of CSR in HR. WeCan focuses on creating meaningful employment opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities. Its innovative approach not only aids local businesses but also addresses environmental goals, empowering participants to contribute positively to their communities.
Expressing his pride in the achievements, Terry Clune, CEO and Founder of CluneTech, stated, “We are absolutely delighted to have won both the Best Workplace Award and to see WeCan recognised for Best Use of CSR in HR at this year’s HR Leadership and Management Awards. On behalf of myself and the leadership team, I’d like to express our gratitude to our incredible people who make CluneTech such a great place to work.”
Clune further emphasized the significance of the Best Workplace Award, calling it “a huge honour and a reflection of the positive, collaborative culture our teams have built together.” He also expressed pride in the impact of WeCan, which has evolved from a small initiative into a vital community resource.
Michelle Gaffney, Head of Group HR at CluneTech, shared her enthusiasm about the recognition. “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised at the HR Leadership & Management Awards. Being named Best Workplace and seeing WeCan honoured for Best Use of CSR in HR is a wonderful reflection of our people-first approach,” she remarked.
The achievements of CluneTech and WeCan underscore the importance of a supportive workplace culture and corporate responsibility, setting a precedent for organizations aiming to enhance employee engagement and community involvement in Ireland.
