Dublin Player Wins €199,000 in EuroMillions Draw
A player from Dublin has won €199,745 in the latest EuroMillions draw, significantly enhancing their weekend. The fortunate individual matched five numbers and one bonus number after purchasing a Quick Pick ticket at an XL gas station on Rush Main Street in Co. Dublin on the day of the draw, which occurred on Friday, October 27, 2023. The winning numbers were 11, 21, 39, 40, 43, with the lucky stars being 2 and 8.
Despite no one winning the main EuroMillions jackpot of €98,027,155, the draw saw over 56,000 players in Ireland take home various prizes across the EuroMillions and Plus games. According to Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery, the Dubliner’s win is a notable achievement, highlighting the excitement of the draw.
The winner has not yet come forward and is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They can contact the prize claims team at 1800 666 222 or via email at [email protected] to arrange the collection of their life-changing prize from Lottery Headquarters.
Streak of Wins in Dublin
This recent win adds to a series of significant prizes claimed in Dublin. Another player in Donnybrook won €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The winning ticket for this draw was purchased at Donnybrook Fair on Morehampton Road. The winning numbers for this draw were 05, 09, 14, 39, and 42.
Additionally, a player in Rathfarnham celebrated a €1 million victory in the Lotto Plus One draw held on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The ticket for this significant prize was bought at the Circle K Dodder on Rathfarnham Road, causing considerable excitement in the local community.
The National Lottery emphasizes that a substantial portion of the proceeds from ticket sales supports good causes across Ireland. Approximately 30 cents from every €1 spent goes towards initiatives in sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish language. Since its establishment 37 years ago, the National Lottery has raised over €6.5 billion for such causes. In 2024 alone, approximately €239.3 million has been allocated to local good causes in communities throughout Ireland.
As winners continue to emerge, the excitement surrounding the EuroMillions and other lottery draws in Dublin remains palpable, illustrating the life-changing potential of these games.
