Limerick’s Brian McEnery Joins Irish Writers Centre Board

The Irish Writers Centre has appointed seven new members to its Board of Directors, including Brian McEnery from Ballycummin, Patrickswell, County Limerick. McEnery, who serves as Managing Partner at BDO Ireland, brings a wealth of leadership experience to the Centre. His expertise comes at a crucial time as the organization seeks to enhance its support for writers across Ireland.

With a background in corporate finance, restructuring, and healthcare, McEnery’s appointment adds significant depth to the board. He has held prominent positions, including Worldwide President of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chair of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA), and Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee of NAMA. His diverse experience aligns with the Centre’s goals of expanding its impact on writers throughout the country.
