Two EuroMillions Players Celebrate €500,000 Wins in Ireland

Two players in Ireland are celebrating significant windfalls after winning €500,000 each in the latest EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning tickets were sold in Kildare and Limerick, marking a fortunate moment for both winners.
The player from Kildare purchased their Quick Pick ticket online on the day of the draw. Meanwhile, the Limerick winner bought their ticket at Day Today Rathkeale, located on New Line in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. The winning numbers drawn were 10, 34, 37, 38, and 43.
Emma Monaghan, a spokesperson for the National Lottery, expressed excitement over the wins, stating, “Huge congratulations to our EuroMillions Plus winners in Co. Limerick and Co. Kildare, who have each won €500,000 – a fantastic start to their weekends.” She also noted that while there was no winner for the EuroMillions jackpot, which stood at an impressive €232,174,804, over 70,000 players in Ireland still walked away with prizes from the EuroMillions and Plus games.
The National Lottery is urging all players in the Limerick area to check their tickets carefully. An email notification has already been sent to the online Kildare player. Those who believe they may have won can contact the National Lottery prize claims team at 1800 666 222 or via email at [email protected].
In addition to the EuroMillions winners, the Lotto Jackpot is set to soar to an estimated €15.5 million for the next draw. Players aiming for a life-changing win can purchase tickets in-store, through the National Lottery app, or at lottery.ie before the cut-off time of 19:45.
Last Saturday, a Lotto Plus 2 winner in Donegal claimed a top prize of €250,000. The winning numbers were 11, 13, 22, 25, 29, and 32, with the bonus number being 42. Another player matched five numbers plus the bonus, winning €108,042. The winning numbers for this draw were 4, 6, 11, 39, 41, and 46, with a bonus of 10. Additionally, there were 98 winners of the raffle prize, each receiving €500.
As excitement builds around the upcoming draw, many are speculating about what life-changing purchases could be made with the potential €15.5 million jackpot. For instance, one could buy the world’s second-most expensive car, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, for €18,700,000, leaving around €300,000 for maintenance. Alternatively, winners could enjoy a luxurious stay at the Lover’s Deep Luxury Submarine Hotel in St Lucia for 126 nights at a rate of €125,000 per night.
Moreover, with such a significant prize, one could theoretically afford to purchase a walking stick that belonged to Irish revolutionary hero Michael Collins 316 times, as a recent auction saw it sold for £52,000 (approximately €60,000).
As the anticipation for tonight’s Lotto draw continues, players are reminded to check their tickets and dream big as they consider the possibilities that such a win could bring.
