Ed Sheeran Hosts Exclusive Gig for Top Fans in Dublin Tonight

Ed Sheeran is set to perform an exclusive gig for his most dedicated fans tonight in Dublin. The concert, titled ‘Billions Club Live’, is a unique event organized by Spotify, aimed at celebrating Sheeran’s impressive achievement of having 14 songs in the music streaming platform’s prestigious Billions Club.
Only premium Spotify users who are identified as top fans of Sheeran received invitations to this special performance. The venue for the concert will remain undisclosed until just two hours before the show begins, adding an element of surprise for attendees. Spotify has previously hosted similar events, such as a concert for The Weeknd’s top fans in California when he marked his 25th entry into the Billions Club.
The email sent to fans two weeks ago described the event as an “intimate one-night-only” experience, promising to bring the pop star’s biggest hits to life in a setting designed specifically for his most loyal supporters.
Connecting with Irish Roots
Sheeran’s connection to Ireland is notable, as he often expresses pride in his Irish heritage. In June, during an appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast, he revealed, “I class my culture as Irish. I think that’s what I grew up with. We’d spend all of our holidays in Ireland.” This cultural identification stems from his childhood experiences, where traditional Irish music played a significant role in his upbringing.
Just a few months ago, on August 5, 2025, Sheeran made headlines when he surprised fans with an impromptu performance at Fleadh Cheoil in Wexford. He entertained attendees outside the Sky & The Ground pub, demonstrating his dedication to engaging with fans, regardless of their location.
Upcoming Irish Shows
For those who are unable to attend tonight’s event, Ed Sheeran has announced another performance scheduled for December 9, 2025, at the 3Arena in Dublin. This concert will provide an additional opportunity for fans to experience Sheeran’s music live.
As anticipation builds for tonight’s exclusive event, it is clear that Ed Sheeran continues to foster a deep connection with his fans and his Irish roots, further solidifying his status as a beloved artist on the global stage.
