Jack P Shepherd Marries Hanni Treweek in Glamorous Ceremony
Jack P Shepherd, known for his role on *Coronation Street*, has celebrated his marriage to Hanni Treweek in a stunning ceremony held on July 26, 2024, at the historic Manchester Cathedral. The event saw an impressive gathering of 150 guests, including several of Shepherd’s co-stars, notably Helen Worth, who recently concluded her long-standing role as his mother, Gail Platt, on the popular soap.
The wedding was a picturesque affair, with the bride, Hanni, donning an elegant white gown featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves, intricate lace detailing, and a flowing train. She complemented her look with a tiara and a delicate veil that gracefully covered her face. Jack looked sharp in an ivory tuxedo jacket paired with a white shirt, black trousers, and a matching bowtie. He made a striking entrance in a red Mustang, accompanied by his son, Reuben.
As the couple exited the cathedral as newlyweds, their guests showered them with confetti, marking the joyous occasion. Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at The Lowry Hotel in Salford, Manchester, a luxurious venue known for its five-star service, where a wedding breakfast and reception took place.
Star-Studded Attendance and Heartfelt Moments
Among the attendees were familiar faces from the *Coronation Street* cast, including Tina O’Brien, Lucy Fallon, Julia Goulding, and Alan Halsall, who attended the event with his new girlfriend, Ellie Dolan. Worth, photographed for the first time since leaving the show, radiated happiness in a blue and green floral dress.
The couple’s engagement took place during a memorable trip to Africa, where they spent two weeks exploring Tanzania and enjoying a safari in the Serengeti, followed by a visit to Zanzibar. Jack proposed to Hanni on June 5, 2024, during a romantic picnic, a moment Hanni later celebrated by sharing on social media: “05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!”
Jack and Hanni first met while working together on *Coronation Street*, where Hanni served as a storyliner from 2018 to 2020 and previously worked as a researcher for the programme. Though they were familiar with each other from the set, it was only after attending a mutual friend’s wedding that their relationship blossomed into romance.
As they embark on this new chapter together, the couple’s love story reflects both personal and professional connections, marking a significant milestone in their lives.
