Peter Andre Responds to Katie Price After 16 Years of Silence

Peter Andre has publicly addressed his ex-wife, Katie Price, after a prolonged period of silence that lasted over sixteen years. This development follows a series of heated exchanges between the former couple, particularly regarding their daughter, Princess Andre, and her debut reality television series.
In a sharp social media post, the 52-year-old singer expressed his frustration with ongoing falsehoods surrounding his relationship with his children. He stated, “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.”
Peter clarified that for the safety and well-being of his children, Junior and Princess, they had come into his care in 2018 and remained under his guardianship until they reached adulthood. He emphasized that this arrangement was legally sanctioned by family courts, which issued a binding order to enforce it. “I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children,” he added.
The public spat intensified after Katie Price criticized the production of Princess’s reality series, claiming that she had been sidelined. The 47-year-old expressed her disappointment on her podcast, stating she felt excluded from her daughter’s life events, including her recent 18th birthday celebration. She alleged that her former management team, who also handle Peter and Princess, deemed her “trash,” leading to her absence from significant family moments.
In her remarks, Katie suggested that the family could benefit from a conversation to resolve their differences. “I feel like I’ve missed out on so much, and it’s so not fair to bring Princess as piggy in the middle,” she stated. She expressed hope that both parents could unite to support their daughter in her new venture, saying, “There’s no reason why both parents can’t be there to support her.”
Princess, who appears prominently in the series, has also shared her struggles with the impact of her parents’ public lives on her childhood. In the documentary, she reflected on her experiences, noting, “I do wish, like, I could have had a more happy childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.”
As the feud continues to unfold, Peter has hinted at addressing further allegations and lies in the coming months. He remarked, “Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”
The ongoing tensions between Peter and Katie highlight the complexities of co-parenting in the public eye, particularly as their children navigate their own paths in the entertainment industry. Both parents have expressed their desire for a more harmonious family dynamic, but it remains to be seen if they can achieve this amid their ongoing disputes.
