Princess Andre Opens Up About ‘Scary’ Experiences in Mucky Mansion

Princess Andre has shared her candid feelings about living in the infamous Mucky Mansion, describing her time there as “really scary.” The 18-year-old daughter of former glamour model Katie Price and pop star Peter Andre reflected on her experiences in the nine-bedroom property during a recent interview with The Guardian.
Katie Price purchased Mucky Mansion in 2014, and it became the subject of a Channel 4 documentary series that showcased her efforts to renovate the dilapidated residence. The three-part series followed Price as she transformed various rooms, including her children’s spaces, and updated the kitchen within the sprawling 10-acre estate. Last year, the property was sold for £1.5 million (approximately €1.74 million).
Princess Andre recounted her unease with the home, stating, “A lot went on there. So I didn’t really like it.” She attributed her negative feelings to the presence of “bad experiences” that occurred during her time living there. Although she did not provide specific details about these experiences, her discomfort was apparent.
Reflecting on her childhood memories, Princess admitted, “I didn’t really like this house at the start. It was a dark house. There were just so many bad memories in it.” In the same documentary, Katie Price corroborated her daughter’s feelings, mentioning that Princess “didn’t want to stay here” and acknowledging the “heartache” experienced at the property.
The emotional weight of their shared experiences in Mucky Mansion has left a lasting impact on both mother and daughter. Princess expressed a sense of reluctance even to “walk on the driveway,” indicating the extent of her discomfort with the location.
Princess Andre has recently expanded her presence in the media, making her television debut with her own reality series, The Princess Diaries. This new venture allows her to share her story and experiences more broadly, potentially offering a fresh perspective on her life beyond the confines of Mucky Mansion.
As Princess navigates her burgeoning career in entertainment, her reflections on her past are serving as a reminder of the complex emotions tied to family and home. The journey from the “scary” Mucky Mansion to her current endeavors illustrates a path of growth and resilience as she seeks to carve out her identity in the public eye.
