Blathnaid Treacy, a prominent host on RTE 2FM, has delighted her followers with a heartfelt pregnancy update, showcasing her growing baby bump. Treacy and her partner, Charlie Moon, are set to welcome their second child, joining their two-year-old daughter, Nancy. The couple first announced their pregnancy in May 2023, and since then, Treacy has kept her audience engaged with regular updates on her journey.

Embracing Change and New Beginnings

In her latest social media post, Treacy shared a video of herself admiring her reflection in the mirror, providing fans with another glimpse of her pregnancy. Wearing a stylish black maxi dress paired with heels and gold accessories, she radiated happiness as she posed with her hand resting on her stomach. The caption read: “How do I have another 3 months to go, when I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 3 years already. The outfit struggle is real now… stretchy dresses for all of the @nationallottery August live draws. Feeling very happy, healthy and lucky x.”

Her post garnered an outpouring of support from fans and friends alike, with many expressing their admiration. Comments included heartfelt messages such as “Beautiful” and “Congratulations,” while one follower exclaimed, “You look stunning, Blathnaid.”

Addressing Challenges with ADHD

In addition to celebrating her growing family, Treacy recently opened up about her experience with ADHD. She received a formal diagnosis in August 2022 after her husband, a teacher, suggested that she might exhibit symptoms associated with the condition. During an appearance on The Six O’Clock Show, she shared her journey of self-discovery, stating, “My husband was doing a little bit of teacher training and learning about teaching people who are neurodivergent. He kind of said to me, ‘I think you might have ADHD.’”

Treacy explained how her symptoms intensified during her first pregnancy, noting, “If you’re a woman and you have a baby and you have ADHD, your symptoms explode. They go through the roof.” She described feelings of being overwhelmed and stressed, particularly when faced with tasks that seemed manageable to others. “I was kind of feeling all sorts of feelings and getting stressed out very easily,” she recalled. “It’s like stacking things; people with ADHD often have a mental list of tasks, but it can be paralyzing when there’s too much to do.”

Through her candid discussions, Treacy has not only celebrated her personal milestones but also raised awareness about ADHD, particularly among mothers. Her openness about the challenges she faces resonates with many, encouraging a broader conversation about mental health and parenthood.

As Treacy approaches the final months of her pregnancy, her followers are eager to continue sharing in her journey. Her genuine updates and reflections serve as a reminder of the joys and struggles that accompany such significant life changes.
