Milford Care Centre Unveils Strategic Plan for 2025–2030

Milford Care Centre has officially launched its Strategic Plan for 2025–2030, marking a significant advancement in specialist palliative care and services for older adults in the Mid West region. The announcement was made on September 9, 2023, following over a year of collaborative efforts involving consultations with various stakeholders, including staff, patients, and community members through town hall meetings and workshops.

Strategic Vision and Core Themes

Under the banner of “Leading with Compassion, Excellence, and Innovation,” the new strategic plan aims to provide a clear roadmap for the future. It seeks to honour the legacy of Milford Care Centre while also embracing innovative opportunities to enhance the quality of care provided to patients and residents.

The strategy is structured around seven core themes: Service Excellence and Innovation, People and Culture, Organisational Governance, Education and Research, Engagement and Partnerships, Infrastructure and Sustainability, and Digital Transformation. These themes will serve as pillars to strengthen service delivery and empower the dedicated teams responsible for implementing the Centre’s initiatives.

The launch event, held at the Centre’s premises, was attended by staff and stakeholders who expressed their commitment to the Centre’s future and its ongoing impact on the local community.

Leadership Statements
