Aadya Srivastava Crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2025 in Dublin
Aadya Srivastava, an 18-year-old model from Headford, has been crowned as Miss Universe Ireland 2025 during a vibrant ceremony held at the Hilton Dublin Airport. The event took place on the evening of October 7, 2023, where finalists from across Ireland showcased their talents and aspirations for the coveted title.
Srivastava, currently in her second year at the University of Galway, is studying Law, Politics, and Economics. She has expressed a strong desire to pursue a career in international human rights law, reflecting her commitment to making a positive impact on society.
A Night of Glamour and Competition
The ceremony attracted a diverse audience, celebrating beauty and empowerment. The outgoing titleholder, Sofia Labus from Cork, crowned Srivastava as the new Miss Universe Ireland. This remarkable achievement means that she will represent Ireland at the 74th Miss Universe final, scheduled for November 21, 2025, in Thailand.
During the competition, participants underwent rigorous evaluations that included interviews and modeling presentations, demonstrating their capabilities and ambitions. The event was marked by a display of unity and support among contestants, emphasizing the spirit of sisterhood.
Looking Ahead to the Global Stage
Srivastava’s victory places her among a distinguished group of previous Miss Universe Ireland winners, including Roz Purcell, Joanna Copper, Aishah Akorede, and Sofia Labus. The upcoming Miss Universe event will bring together women from over 100 countries, all vying for the crown currently held by Victoria Kjær Theilvig.
