Donegal Makeup Artist Aoife Boyle Shortlisted for National Award

Ballyshannon’s Aoife Boyle has been named a finalist for Best Makeup Artist at the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2025, a prestigious event in Ireland’s beauty industry. The awards, now in their 11th year, recognize excellence in beauty, hair, and aesthetics, with winners determined by public vote.
Aoife Boyle operates her own studio in Donegal Town and has established herself as a leading bridal specialist in the northwest of Ireland. Her expertise has seen her collaborate with renowned beauty brands at Selfridges in London and gain experience backstage at London Fashion Week.
“Building my reputation has taken dedication and hard work, but I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day,” Aoife remarked. “Being recognized at a national level for that passion means so much.” She is the only finalist representing the northern part of Ireland, with the category predominantly filled by artists from Dublin and Leinster.
“It feels very special to be representing Donegal and the northwest on a national stage,” she added. The awards ceremony will take place on November 23, 2025, at The Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road in Dublin.
Voting for the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards is currently open, and Aoife is encouraging her fellow Donegal residents to support her. “Every single vote makes a difference, and it would mean the world to have my county behind me,” she stated.
Supporters can cast their votes at image.ie/bob-voting-2025. This nomination not only highlights Aoife’s talent but also shines a light on the vibrant beauty community in Donegal, making her a source of inspiration for aspiring artists in the region.
