Donegal’s Aoife Boyle Shortlisted for IMAGE Business of Beauty Award
Ballyshannon native Aoife Boyle has been nominated for the prestigious Best Makeup Artist category at the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2025, a significant event in Ireland’s beauty industry. This recognition highlights her talent and dedication in a field where she has established herself as one of the top bridal makeup specialists in the northwest region.
Operating her own studio in Donegal Town, Aoife has garnered a reputation for excellence. Her experience includes collaborations with renowned beauty brands at Selfridges in London and valuable exposure at London Fashion Week. Reflecting on her journey, she stated, “Building my reputation has taken dedication and hard work, but I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day. Being recognised at a national level for that passion means so much.”
Aoife stands out as the sole finalist from the northern part of the country, a category predominantly featuring artists from Dublin and the Leinster area. She expressed her pride in representing Donegal and the northwest on such a significant stage, saying, “It feels very special to be representing Donegal and the northwest on a national stage.”
Event Details and Community Support
Now in its 11th year, the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards are widely regarded as the most credible and prestigious accolades within Ireland’s beauty, hair, and aesthetics sectors. The winners will be announced on November 23, 2025, at an event held at the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road.
The winners are determined entirely by public vote, which underscores the importance of community support. Aoife is actively encouraging her fellow Donegal residents to participate in the voting process, stating, “Every single vote makes a difference, and it would mean the world to have my county behind me.” Voting is currently open and can be accessed at [image.ie/bob-voting-2025](http://image.ie/bob-voting-2025).
