Galway Lecturer Sophie Sweeney to Represent Ireland at One Young World Summit
Sophie Sweeney, a lecturer in accountancy, finance, and tax at the University of Galway, has been selected to represent Ireland at the prestigious One Young World summit in Munich, Germany, in 2025. Her recognition comes after being named a Chartered Star by Chartered Accountants Ireland, an accolade awarded for exceptional commitment to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
