A local student from Kilkenny, Aaron Meakin, has been named a finalist in Ireland’s Best Dressed Debutante Final for 2025. Meakin attended the Colaiste Mhuire Debs earlier this summer and is now competing for the prestigious title. The final event is set to take place at The Mayson Hotel in Dublin on November 5, hosted by DEBSireland in collaboration with Assets Model Agency.

Every year, DEBSireland organizes a competition during the debs season to identify the Best Dressed Debutante. At each debs event, two debutantes are recognized as the Best Dressed, and their photos are showcased on the DEBSireland website, allowing the public to cast their votes for their favorites. The competition not only highlights style but also engages the community in a celebratory manner.

On the day of the photo shoot, the ten finalists will indulge in exclusive styling and pampering provided by a team of experts. This includes services from renowned makeup artist and influencer Cakedwcian, talented hairstylist Kon Kelly, and a stylist from The Grafton Barbers. Each debutante is set to look their absolute best, and the event will culminate in a photoshoot led by award-winning photographer Mark Duffy. The best photo of each contestant will be selected and uploaded to the website to initiate the final voting round for the title of Ireland’s Best Dressed Debutante.

Finalists can expect to receive a fabulous goodie bag filled with products from generous sponsors, including Essence Makeup, The Grafton Barber, and Róisín’s Sweet Treats. The overall winner will be determined through a collective voting process: one vote from DEBSireland, one from Assets Model Agency, and one from the public voting on the website.

This year’s champion will receive an exciting holiday for two to Las Vegas, along with a modeling contract with Assets Model Agency, providing a remarkable opportunity for the winner to launch their modeling career. The competition not only celebrates fashion and style but also fosters community spirit and engagement among young debutantes across Ireland.
