The winning puppy will receive a comprehensive grooming package, a year’s supply of food from BETA, a two-night stay from Ireland’s Blue Book, a professional photoshoot, and a brand ambassador contract with Petmania.

The competition recognizes various attributes, including personality, coat appearance, obedience, and unique talents. Initial voting will allow the public to support their favorite entrants as they progress through the competition stages. The winner will be announced during the live grand finale at the Pet Expo in Dublin on October 18, 2024.

How to Participate in Puppy of the Year 2024

Entries for the Puppy of the Year competition are now open from August 25 until September 14, 2024. All puppies aged up to 12 months are eligible to participate, representing all 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland. Each valid entrant will receive a Puppy Pack along with an exclusive discount code for essential pet supplies.
