Tuam’s Rían Coady Honored with Global Undergraduate Award
Tuam’s own Rían Coady, a student at Trinity College Dublin, has been awarded the esteemed Global Undergraduate Award. This recognition places him among just 25 winners selected from a competitive pool of over 2,400 submissions across 348 universities in 99 countries.
The winners were honored with the prestigious Thomas Clarkson Gold Medal for their exemplary achievements in undergraduate research. The awards were presented by former Government Minister Simon Coveney during the Global Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony held at King’s Inns this week. Rían Coady was recognized specifically in the Philosophy category, showcasing his outstanding contributions to the field.
