Gardai Seek Public Help to Locate Missing Man in Wexford
Gardai are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Gerard (Gerry) Lynch, a 58-year-old man reported missing from his home in New Ross, County Wexford. Lynch was last seen on October 26, 2025, at approximately 09:15. His family and local authorities have expressed significant concern for his well-being.
Described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build, grey hair, and green eyes, Lynch’s appearance has been shared widely in hopes of gathering information. While the specific clothing he was wearing when he went missing is unknown, it is believed that he has access to a 142DL-reg Nissan X-Trail, which may aid in his mobility.
Possible Locations and Appeal for Information
Authorities suspect that Lynch may have travelled to Arranmore Island in Donegal or to the Belfast area. The Gardai, along with Lynch’s family, are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
Individuals who may have seen Lynch or have any relevant information are encouraged to contact New Ross Garda Station at (051) 426030, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any local Garda station.
The search for Gerry Lynch highlights the importance of community involvement in locating missing persons. The Gardai are hopeful that with the public’s help, they can ensure his safe return.
