Nearly 1,000 Dogs Set to Shine at Limerick Championship Show

Almost 1,000 dogs are preparing to showcase their skills and beauty at the 94th All Breed International Championship Dog Show on August 21, 2024. Organized by the Limerick and District Canine Club, this prestigious event will take place at the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, Ireland. Known as Ireland’s premier dog show, it attracts participants from various countries, bringing a wide array of breeds to the spotlight.

With over 270 different breeds expected to compete, the show will feature canines from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Slovakia, and Sweden. The event is part of the renowned Munster Circuit, which includes a series of dog shows held across the country. Judges will arrive from France and Spain to evaluate the competitors, ensuring a high standard of assessment for all entries.

The Munster Circuit also features shows in Clonmel on August 17, Killarney on August 19, and Castleisland on August 23. Each event draws dog lovers and exhibitors, creating an exciting atmosphere for participants and attendees alike.

Visitors to the championship show can witness the competition first-hand, as well as access live results online throughout the day. The event will run from 09:00 to 16:30, with parking facilities available for attendees. In addition to the canine competitions, there will be trade stands offering a range of products, including treats and accessories for dogs.
