Complete Laboratory Solutions to Create 140 Jobs in Galway

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) has announced plans to create up to 140 new jobs at its facility in Galway City over the next three years. This expansion will increase the company’s workforce to a total of 400 employees, marking a significant milestone in CLS’s 30-year history.
Evelyn O’Toole, Founder and CEO of CLS, expressed enthusiasm about the announcement, stating, “This marks one of the most exciting phases in CLS’s journey, as we scale from a national success story to a global player.” The new positions will support CLS’s mission to provide testing, training, consultancy, and resourcing solutions to clients, which include leaders in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Environmental, and Food and Beverage industries.
Investment and Development Plans
The job creation follows a recent investment of €9 million in a comprehensive upskilling programme, which has been supported by IDA Ireland. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of existing employees while preparing new hires for the demands of the industry.
The CLS facility is located at the IDA Business Park on the Tuam Road in Galway City. In addition to this site, the company operates facilities in Ros Muc and Dublin.
This expansion is part of a broader trend of growth within the Irish economy, particularly in sectors related to technology and healthcare. As companies like CLS position themselves as key players on a global scale, the potential for job creation and economic development continues to rise.
In summary, the announcement of 140 new jobs at Complete Laboratory Solutions is a promising development for Galway City and the surrounding regions, further solidifying CLS’s role as a major contributor to the local economy and the global market.
