Prospective students across various regions are gearing up for a series of open days at universities and technological institutions. These events offer an invaluable opportunity to explore academic options, meet faculty, and experience campus life firsthand. The open days will unfold from October 2023 through early 2026, with specific dates and registration details outlined for each institution.

National College of Ireland and St Patrick’s Pontifical University

The National College of Ireland (NCI) will host its open days on November 19 from 12:00 to 15:00 and on January 24, 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00. Registration can be completed online at ncirl.ie/CAO-Open-Days. Visitors can engage with lecturers, covering various courses such as business, psychology, and computing, while also taking campus tours and interacting with current students.

St Patrick’s Pontifical University (SPPU), in collaboration with Maynooth University, will conduct open days on November 28 from 9:30 to 13:00 and November 29 from 10:30 to 14:00. No prior registration is necessary. Attendees can meet with students, receive advice from the recruitment team, and participate in campus tours. The main undergraduate programme is the Bachelor’s in Theology and Arts, a three-year degree involving study at both St Patrick’s and Maynooth campuses.

Institutions Across Ireland

The Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) will host its open day on November 22 from 10:00 to 15:00. Interested individuals can register at iadt.ie/openday. Highlights include tours of the National Film School and interactive sessions with faculty and student ambassadors.

The National College of Art and Design (NCAD) is set for its open day on November 26.
