Senior and Intermediate Championship Highlights
In the Donegal Senior Football Championship, Killybegs faced Kilcar in a tightly contested match, ultimately ending with a score of 2-12 to 1-17 in favor of Kilcar. Meanwhile, Ardara went up against MacCumhaills, with the latter dominating the game and securing a convincing win by a score of 2-22 to 1-13.
The Intermediate Football Championship also showcased intense competition. Burt managed to edge out Bundoran with a score of 2-8 to 1-14. In another match, Malin and Fanad Gaels fought to a stalemate, finishing 2-12 each.
Results from the Lower Divisions
The Donegal Senior B Football Championship featured Killybegs again, but this time they struggled against Kilcar, suffering a defeat of 0-07 to 1-14. Ardara demonstrated their strength, overcoming MacCumhaills with a score of 3-15 to 1-12.
In the Intermediate B Football Championship, Burt delivered an impressive performance, defeating Bundoran decisively with a score of 4-10 to 0-03. Malin continued their strong showing, defeating Fanad Gaels 0-17 to 0-12.
The Junior Football Championship saw Robert Emmetts claim victory over Urris with a score of 1-11 to 0-9. Carndonagh also had a successful day, defeating St Mary’s Convoy 2-10 to 1-6. Naomh Brid and Urris faced off in the Junior B Football Championship, with Naomh Brid narrowly losing 1-14 to 2-10.
