He led Liverpool to consecutive Women’s Super League titles in 2013 and 2014 during his first tenure with the club. One of Beard’s notable contributions was signing Leanne Kiernan, now a key player for the Republic of Ireland, during his time at Liverpool and West Ham. Kiernan played a crucial role in helping Liverpool secure promotion back to the Women’s Super League in 2022.
