32 Roses Compete for Coveted Crown at Rose of Tralee Festival

URGENT UPDATE: The 2025 Rose of Tralee International Festival is officially underway, featuring 32 Roses from Ireland and around the world vying for the prestigious crown. Festivities kicked off last week, culminating in live TV selections from the Kerry Sports Academy at MTU tonight, July 15, and tomorrow, July 16, starting at 8 PM each night on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
This iconic event, celebrated globally, showcases the rich blend of Irish tradition and modern identity. From Armagh to Arizona and Cork to Canada, viewers can tune in to witness the diverse talents and stories of each contestant. The excitement builds as Dáithí Ó Sé and Kathryn Thomas host the event, welcoming Roses from as far away as Sydney, New Zealand, Toronto, Arizona, and the United Arab Emirates.
Radio star Carl Mullan will serve as MC, introducing each Rose, while popular personality James Patrice returns as the official Rose Reporter, sharing behind-the-scenes insights and fun moments.
The Rose of Tralee has captivated audiences for decades, creating a sense of community and cultural pride among the Irish diaspora and fans worldwide. As the festival unfolds, a packed programme promises to deliver unforgettable performances and emotional narratives that resonate with viewers.
