Aimee Rose Carey Secures Spot on Late Late Toy Show Next Week!
URGENT UPDATE: Rising star Aimee Rose Carey, a talented 13-year-old from Fahan, has just been confirmed to perform on the highly anticipated Late Late Toy Show next Friday, November 5, 2023. Out of an astonishing 5,000 applications submitted to RTÉ, Aimee Rose is one of just 60 children selected, marking a monumental milestone in her young career.
Aimee Rose’s journey kicked off when her mother, Sharon, submitted a video application earlier this year. Following a successful audition at RTÉ studios last month, the excitement reached new heights when Aimee Rose received the life-changing news on Halloween that she would grace the stage of Ireland’s most-watched annual show.
She has been rehearsing tirelessly since, receiving unwavering support from her family, including her parents, Sharon and Conor, and her brother, Michael. Aimee Rose is no stranger to the spotlight; she recently competed in the Junior Eurovision competition, reaching the final 12 on TG4. This local sensation is also a familiar face in her school, Scoil Mhuire in Buncrana, where she recently starred in the production of Annie the Musical.
Additionally, Aimee Rose is an active member of Buncrana Pantomime and Inish Theatre, further showcasing her dedication to the arts. She is also honing her musical talents at St Columb’s School of Music in Derry.
In another exciting development, TJ McDaid from Drumkeen has also been confirmed to participate in the Toy Show, representing Donegal in the county parade, adding another layer of excitement for local fans.
As the countdown to the Late Late Toy Show continues, Aimee Rose’s story is capturing hearts and inspiring aspiring performers across the country. Stay tuned for updates as her big moment approaches!
