URGENT UPDATE: A man in his 40s has been arrested following a tragic hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of an elderly cyclist in Meath. The collision occurred shortly after 9:59 AM on September 12, 2025, along the R156 in Batterstown, Ballivor.
Authorities confirm that the male cyclist, aged in his 80s, was found unresponsive at the scene.
