Cliona Hagan Set to Dazzle as Fairy Godmother in Limerick Panto
BREAKING: Multi-award-winning country music artist Cliona Hagan is making her highly anticipated pantomime debut as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at the University Concert Hall in Limerick. With just weeks to go until the opening on December 18, 2025, excitement is building for this festive production that promises to enchant audiences of all ages.
Cliona expressed her enthusiasm stating, “I’ve got the feels, the nerves, the excitement! This is going to be my first panto and it’s going to be so special.” The artist, known for her powerful vocals and chart-topping hits, is ready to bring “a little country flair with a little bit of sass” to the stage.
This year’s pantomime is set to run from December 18, 2025, to January 11, 2026, featuring a star-studded cast including RTÉ Jnr star John Sharpson, Limerick legend Myles Breen, and Voice of Ireland winner Keith Hanley. Returning favorite Esther Brady will portray Cinderella, alongside newcomers Chris Currid and social media sensation Stuart Mackey.
The production, presented by Robert C Kelly and the University Concert Hall, promises a spectacular experience filled with laughter, stunning costumes, and unforgettable music. Cliona remarked, “Christmas in itself is the most special time of the year, so being able to play the Fairy Godmother is going to be so exciting. I still can’t believe I’m doing it!”
