Cork’s Conor Shanahan Wins European Drift Championship in Warsaw

UPDATE: Cork’s Conor Shanahan has made history once again, clinching the 2025 Drift Masters European Championship title in a breathtaking finale held on Saturday at PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw, where 50,000 fans witnessed the thrilling showdown.
Shanahan entered the season’s final event with everything at stake. His title was solidified when rival Piotr Wiecek was knocked out in the Top 32, but Shanahan didn’t hold back. Displaying his signature aggression and precision, he battled through the knockout stages and ultimately triumphed over local favorite Pawel Korpulinski in a dramatic “One More Time” final.
This victory marks Shanahan’s second European title in just three years, further establishing him as one of drifting’s premier talents. Irish drivers showcased their dominance on the European stage, with four finishing in the top ten. Shanahan’s brother, Jack Shanahan, secured third place overall, while James Deane and Conor Falvey rounded out the top ten, finishing fifth and tenth, respectively.
