URGENT UPDATE: Smyths Daleside, the leading manufacturer of animal feed in Northwest Ireland, has just announced a critical job opening for a Sales Representative based in Co. Tyrone. This role is vital for enhancing business growth at their Ballindrait mill, and applications are being accepted immediately until 5:00 PM on December 1, 2025.
The Sales Representative will report directly to the Commercial Director and play a pivotal role in maximizing existing business while driving new sales initiatives. Candidates will be expected to implement ambitious growth strategies, providing essential technical advice on ruminant nutrition, thereby directly impacting farmers’ productivity and profitability.
Smyths Daleside has been a cornerstone of the agri-food industry since 1865, and they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their team. The selected candidate will have the responsibility of increasing feed sales and market share within the territory, ensuring that customer needs are met with tailored products and services.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in the agri-food industry, with previous sales experience being essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must, along with IT proficiency and the ability to work independently as well as part of a busy team. A Full Driving Licence is required, and candidates with a third-level qualification in agriculture or related fields will be preferred.
