Liam Chawke Claims Near-Podium Finish in Manx Grand Prix
UPDATE: Liam Chawke from Rathkeale delivered an impressive performance, finishing just shy of the podium in the opening Supertwin Race at the 2025 Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man. The race, which spanned three laps over a grueling 60 km Mountain Course, saw Chawke battling fiercely for a podium spot before ultimately claiming a strong fourth place.
The race was won by Lewis Arrowsmith of England, with Toby Shann and Jamie Williams following closely in second and third, respectively. Chawke was in contention throughout, clocking impressive speeds of 110 mph and at one point, he was just 0.06 seconds behind Williams during the second lap.
Although he finished fourth, Chawke’s determination and skill were evident throughout the race. “It was an absolute joy to race; thanks for all the help and support,” he expressed, highlighting his gratitude to sponsors such as Jack Reid Cars and KMR Kawasaki for their support in preparing his Supertwin.
Chawke’s performance is a testament to his resilience and competitive spirit, making him a standout in this thrilling event. The excitement of the race, marked by fierce competition and narrow margins, has captivated fans and spectators alike, sparking discussions about the upcoming races in the Manx Grand Prix.
