Louth Family Funeral Planned Amid Ongoing Investigation

UPDATE: Details have emerged regarding the joint funeral of a Louth family tragically killed in their home. The bodies of Mark O’Connor, his wife Louise, and their son Evan were discovered on September 29 at their residence in Dromgowna, near Tallanstown in County Louth. Robert O’Connor, aged 31, has been charged with the murder of his family members.

The funeral for the O’Connor family will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2023, at 11 AM in St Patrick’s Cathedral. The family will be reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home in Dundalk from 4 PM to 9 PM on Sunday, October 5, and from 2 PM to 9 PM on Monday, October 6. In a touching request, attendees are encouraged to wear odd socks to honor Evan’s unique personality.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched, with the family requesting donations to support The Hub Praxis Care in Drogheda and Drogheda ABACUS School. This initiative reflects the generous spirit of Mark and Louise and the inspiration Evan brought to many during his short life.
