Man in 20s Arrested for Armed Robbery Attempt in Dublin

UPDATE: A man in his 20s has been arrested following a dramatic attempted armed robbery in Clongriffin, Dublin 13, last night. At approximately 9:30 PM, Gardaí responded swiftly to reports of a man entering a retail establishment brandishing a knife, threatening staff, and demanding cash from the till.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this frightening incident. Authorities acted quickly, apprehending the suspect near the scene and recovering the weapon used in the crime.
The suspect was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, and has since been charged. He is set to appear this morning before a session of Dublin District Court (Court No. 2) at the Criminal Courts of Justice.
