Protesters Project Trump-Epstein Video on Windsor Castle Ahead of Banquet

URGEN UPDATE: Protesters have projected a provocative video featuring Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein onto the iconic Windsor Castle just hours before the US president is set to enjoy a lavish state banquet today, September 17, 2025.
The demonstration, led by the activist group Led by Donkeys, occurred late last night, showcasing a montage that included Trump’s mugshot, portraits of Epstein, and footage of their past interactions. The projection was made just before Trump’s arrival in the UK, intensifying the scrutiny surrounding his ties to the disgraced financier.
Local authorities responded swiftly, with Thames Valley Police confirming the arrest of four individuals on suspicion of malicious communications. Chief Superintendent Felicity Parker stated, “We take any unauthorized activity around Windsor Castle extremely seriously.”
As Trump embarks on his second state visit to the UK, the controversy surrounding his connections to Epstein looms large. Recent documents released by US legislators have reignited these discussions, revealing an alleged letter from Trump to Epstein celebrating his 50th birthday. Despite initial denials from the White House, questions about the authenticity of the letter persist.
“I love the UK. I have a lot of things here that warm my heart,” Trump claimed in remarks yesterday, highlighting his affection for the country.
In parallel developments, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer faces backlash after dismissing his ambassador to Washington, Peter Mandelson, over revelations of close ties to Epstein. Emails disclosed last week indicated Mandelson encouraged Epstein to “fight for early release” shortly before the latter began serving an 18-month prison sentence for soliciting prostitution from a minor.
The situation escalated as dozens of anti-Trump demonstrators gathered in Windsor ahead of the president’s arrival, with thousands more expected to protest in London today. The Metropolitan Police have mobilized a significant operation, deploying over 1,600 officers, including 500 from other forces, to maintain order during the high-profile visit.
With Air Force One’s arrival imminent, Trump’s itinerary includes a ceremonial welcome at Windsor Castle, where he will be hosted by King Charles III, followed by a state banquet. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will also meet with the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, on the grounds of the Windsor estate.
Tomorrow, Trump is scheduled to engage in political and economic discussions with Starmer at the Prime Minister’s country residence in Chequers before returning to the United States.
This unfolding scenario not only highlights the complexities surrounding Trump’s visit but also raises significant questions about political accountability and public sentiment in both the UK and the US. As the day progresses, all eyes will be on Windsor Castle, where the intersection of politics, protest, and public opinion will undoubtedly make headlines.
