Sarah Ferguson Apologizes to Epstein, Calls Him ‘Supreme Friend’

URGENT UPDATE: New revelations reveal that Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, issued an apology to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in an email dated 26 April 2011. This email, described as a desperate attempt to mitigate Epstein’s threats of legal action against her, referred to him as a “supreme friend.”
The email surfaced in reports by The Sun, highlighting Ferguson’s contradictory stance after publicly distancing herself from Epstein just weeks prior. In a March 2011 interview with the Evening Standard, Ferguson stated she would “never have anything to do with” Epstein again, following backlash for accepting £15,000 from him.
Ferguson’s spokesman confirmed that the email was sent amid Epstein’s threats to sue for defamation, following her remarks linking him to paedophilia. In her message, she expressed deep remorse for her previous comments, stating, “I was bedridden with fear. I was paralyzed.”
She continued, “You have always been a steadfast, generous, and supreme friend to me and my family.” The email also conveyed her overwhelming anxiety, saying, “I didn’t want to hurt Andrew one more time. I was in overriding fear. I am sorry.”
Ferguson’s spokesman reiterated her regret about her association with Epstein, emphasizing that her thoughts have always been with his victims. “Like many people, she was taken in by his lies,” he stated. “As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly.”
This revelation comes in the wake of Epstein’s controversial death in August 2019, ruled a suicide while he awaited trial on serious sex-trafficking charges. The implications of Ferguson’s email raise questions about her past associations and the pressure she faced in the public eye.
As this story develops, it is crucial to consider the broader implications on Ferguson’s reputation and ongoing discussions surrounding Epstein’s legacy. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the complex dynamics surrounding high-profile figures and their connections to controversial individuals.
