Several Fatalities Confirmed After Co Louth Crash Last Night
UPDATE: Multiple fatalities have been confirmed following a devastating crash in Co Louth last night. The collision, which involved two vehicles, occurred shortly after 9 PM on the L3168 in the townland of Gibstown, Dundalk.
Authorities report that several individuals have died as a result of this tragic incident, with numerous others injured. Emergency services remain on the scene, where the vehicles and the bodies of the deceased are still present. As of now, several injured parties have been transported to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment.
Gardaí are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward. “Anyone with information is asked to contact Dundalk Garda Station at 042 938 8400, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station,” a spokesperson stated.
