Sports Star Linked to Serious Assault in Castlebar, Co Mayo
URGENT UPDATE: A prominent sports star is now under investigation in connection with a violent attack that left a man with serious injuries early Saturday morning in Castlebar, Co Mayo. The incident occurred around 2:50 AM on Tucker Street, where law enforcement has confirmed that the victim is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
Authorities report that the victim was found lying in the street outside a local pub and was swiftly transported to Mayo University Hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, renowned for treating serious head trauma.
While neither the sports star nor his associate has been arrested, both are regarded as suspects in this ongoing investigation, according to reliable sources.
