St John’s Claims Antrim Title; Cork Finals Deliver Thrilling Action

Kilcoo made history by winning their seventh consecutive Down SFC title, overcoming Carryduff 1-17 to 1-11. In a gripping Fermanagh SFC final, Erne Gaels and Derrygonnelly Harps ended in a draw, forcing a rematch after Erne Gaels snatched a tie at the last moment.
Athy upset Naas in the Kildare SFC final, winning 1-17 to 0-18 and denying Naas a fifth consecutive title. In Mayo, Ballina Stephenites managed to draw with Westport 1-15 to 0-18, thanks to a last-minute free from Frank Irwin at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
