Urgent: Elderly Cyclist Dies After Hit-and-Run in Meath

UPDATE: An elderly cyclist has tragically died following a hit-and-run incident in Meath early this morning. The collision took place at approximately 9:59 AM on the R156 in Batterstown, Ballivor, prompting immediate responses from Gardaí and emergency services.
The male cyclist, aged in his 80s, was found unresponsive at the scene and subsequently transported to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, where he was pronounced dead.
