Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, the Crime Prevention Officer at Henry Street Garda Station, stated, “A tradesman’s van was targeted and tools were stolen.” The implications for local tradespeople are significant, as such thefts can severely impact their livelihoods.

Later that same day, at approximately 3:50 PM on September 20, another vehicle was vandalized at Clancy Strand. Thieves smashed the window and made off with a laptop and additional items, further alarming residents. “Both matters are under investigation by Gardai at Henry Street,” Sgt. O’Halloran confirmed.
