Kenna was last seen on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, prompting his family to raise concerns for his welfare, leading to a police appeal for information regarding his whereabouts. It was believed he was traveling in a silver Ford Focus at the time of his disappearance.

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana stated, “Following the discovery of the body of a man in South Dublin, the appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of Jason Kenna has now been stood down. No further action is required at this time.” They expressed gratitude for the public and media’s assistance during the search.

In a separate incident, tragedy struck in Kerry as a motorcyclist tragically lost his life following a collision with a truck. The fatal crash occurred on the N69 near Listowel at approximately 10:00 AM this morning.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, where they found a man in his 40s who was sadly pronounced dead shortly after. The road has been closed for a thorough investigation by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.

Authorities are now appealing to the public for any information regarding this incident. They are particularly interested in speaking with road users who may have dash-cam footage from the area between 9:45 AM and 10:15 AM this morning.
