BREAKING: A serious multiple-vehicle collision has just occurred on the outskirts of Limerick, causing significant traffic disruptions this morning. The incident took place at approximately 8:40 AM near J29 (N24) Ballysimon and J30 M7/N18/M20 (Rosbrien), according to reports from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).

Westbound traffic is heavily impacted, with the hard shoulder as well as lanes 1 and 2 currently blocked. Commuters are advised to seek alternative routes or adjust their travel times to avoid the area.
