URGENT: Pedestrian in 80s Dies in Loughgeorge Collision

UPDATE: A tragic road traffic collision in Loughgeorge has resulted in the death of a man in his 80s. The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 PM last night when a car struck the pedestrian on the Tuam Road at Peake.

Emergency services, including Gardaí, rushed to the scene, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 20s, sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening and was taken to the hospital for assessment.
