Urgent: Two Drivers Hospitalized After Overnight Collisions in Kilkenny
BREAKING: Two drivers are hospitalized following separate road collisions in Kilkenny, raising urgent safety concerns. The incidents occurred overnight, with the first collision reported at 1:30 AM in Ballymack, Cuffesgrange. Gardaí confirmed that a car and a van collided, resulting in both drivers being transported to St Luke’s General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The second incident unfolded just over two hours later, at approximately 3:50 AM, also in Cuffesgrange, where a car collided with a bus. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from this collision.
Authorities are investigating both accidents to determine the causes. While both drivers involved in the first collision are receiving treatment, no further injuries have been reported at this time.
As this situation develops, residents and travelers are urged to exercise caution on Kilkenny roads. The local community is rallying around the injured drivers, hoping for swift recoveries.
