Urgent Update: Man, 31, Charged with Murder of Family in Louth

UPDATE: A man has been charged with the shocking murder of his parents and brother in Co Louth. Robert O’Connor, aged 31, appeared before a special sitting of Drogheda District Court on the evening of September 30, 2025, following the discovery of the victims’ bodies at their family home.

The lifeless bodies of O’Connor’s father, Mark O’Connor, aged 54, mother Louise O’Connor, aged 56, and his brother Evan O’Connor, aged 27, who had additional needs, were found on Monday morning in Dromgowna, just outside Tallanstown.
