Wicklow Shop Celebrates as €1 Million Lotto Winner Revealed

BREAKING: A lucky Lotto player in Co Wicklow is now a millionaire after winning €1 million in the Daily Million draw held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The winning ticket was sold at Earl’s shop on Abbey Street, sparking celebrations among staff and customers alike.
Store owner Paul Vambeck, who has operated the shop for 25 years, expressed his excitement, stating, “Our customers have had a few big wins over the years, but this is the biggest so far which has really brought a lot of excitement to the shop.” Vambeck revealed that the team was ecstatic to receive the call from the National Lottery confirming the win. “A massive congratulations to the winner and we hope they are enjoying the win,” he added.
The winning player matched six numbers plus the Bonus in the 9 PM draw, making them the sixth top prize winner of the year in the Daily Million series. The National Lottery has confirmed that the winner has already made contact and is set to visit the Winners Room at Lottery HQ to claim their prize.
This week has been particularly lucky for Wicklow, with the €1 million win marking the third significant lottery victory in the area. Earlier this week, two Wicklow players won substantial prizes in the EuroDreams draw. One online player secured the top prize of €20,000 per month for 30 years, while another won €2,000 per month for five years at SuperValu in Bray.
As news of the win spreads, locals have been urged to check their tickets. Vambeck noted that customers are eagerly participating in the celebrations, highlighting the community spirit surrounding this life-changing event.
