Woman Arrested After Fatal Assault in Co Tipperary Last Night

URGENT UPDATE: A woman in her 20s has been arrested following the tragic death of a man after an assault in Co Tipperary. Authorities confirmed the incident occurred in Carrick-on-Suir at approximately 11 PM last night.
Upon arrival, Gardaí and emergency services discovered the man unresponsive inside a residence. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene, which has been preserved for a thorough forensic examination. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The woman is currently detained at a Tipperary Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. The Coroner has been notified, and the Garda Technical Bureau along with the Office of the State Pathologist will assist in the ongoing investigation.
